Love During Lockup star Jade Chipps can’t get her last phone call with her husband, Chris Chipps, out of her head. His remarks about their financial position in their marriage struck a nerve. Now that she has had time to think about his comments, she feels more sure than ever that it is time to take a stand. But it doesn’t go as well as she hoped.
Love During Lockup: Jade Chipps Puts Chris Chipps on the Spot
Jade Chipps realizes she may have revealed her cards too soon to her husband, Chris Chipps. The Love During Lockup star feels a nagging concern over his recent comments. She feels he made it a point to put her in her place by reminding her everything they have belongs to him. Now, she can’t shake the fear of being out in the cold if their marriage doesn’t last.
She thinks she may have overstepped too soon. During their recent phone conversation, she tries manipulating her husband. She tells him that she needs to feel protected in their marriage. He tells her things are fine between them. He adds that she has taken things wrong. But Jade is unsure if she can trust him and tells him he must do something for her to ease her mind.
The WEtv cast member tells her Love During Lockup spouse that she wants him to do something for her. She demands either a postnuptial agreement or a will specifying her financial protection. She tells him that if he doesn’t do this for her, their relationship will be in serious jeopardy. Now he is suspicious of her motives. He feels as if she may be plotting to leave him.
Chris Flips the Script on WEtv Spouse
The Love During Lockup preview clips show that Jade is now concerned she messed up with Chris. Because now he is feeling concerned about their future. He begins asking her if she is planning on divorcing him. The change in his attitude scares her. This is because she still needs to put her plan to save some money on the side in action.
Jade is afraid that she has Chris so spooked now that he will cut her off financially. This will means that she has no money or means to support herself if he does this. She knows she may have screwed up big with him.
During a previous episode, he admitted having trust issues regarding his wife. So if she can’t assure him all is well between them, he could act out against her. Her plan to pressure him will blow up in her face if she doesn’t figure out how to smooth things with him.

The season finale preview shows that Chris and Jade’s marriage may end. It will take some fast talk on her part to get past this blunder. She knows that in the past, she has been able to talk her husband down when he gets like this. But this time, she may have backed herself into a corner with no way out.
