Milanese jewelry house Pomellato hosted an exclusive Gala Dinner to celebrate its Light and Reflections project, in collaboration with Venetian Heritage.
The initiative has contributed to the funding of a state-of-the-art illumination system for the façade of the Ca’ d’Oro – or ‘Golden House’ – in Italian.
Located on Venice’s Grand Canal, the Golden House is famous for its exquisite open-work marble facade – partially gilded in the past – and the reason for its nickname.
To honour the occasion, Pomellato created the Venetian Dream necklace, a one-of-a-kind high jewellery piece whose design is inspired by the iconic gothic palazzo.
Kasia Smutniak was in attendance wearing an Alexander McQueen Spring 2023 suit.
Alexander McQueen is renowned for their tailoring and unexpected silhouettes.
Take the jacket, for instance, which mimics a classic blazer while sliced to reveal the shoulders to ensure an entirely contemporary finish.
This was the perfect choice for Kasia whose job it was to showcase the Pomellato diamond encrusted link chain necklace.
If you’re having a case of deja vu, it’s because Scarlett Johansson wore this same look back in November.
Eva Riccobono had the same task, however, her bow tied N°21 Resort 2024 suit didn’t allow the Italian model Pomellato necklace to shine.
I will assume she was inspired by the styling in the look book.
