Victoria’s Secret kicked off New York Fashion Week with a special event celebrating Victoria’s Secret The Tour ’23 on Wednesday (September 6).
The pink carpet was filled with custom Victoria’s Secret, VS20 bespoke designs, one-of-a-kind vintage creations, and the latest fall arrivals.
Naomi Campbell wore a bespoke handmade brass and bronze dress made in Nigeria and Kenya by VS20 designer Bubu Ogisi from The Tour ’23.
What makes me most happy about this design, is that the base layer isn’t too light for her skin-tone. That way I can appreciate the craftsmanship of this detailed design.

Candice Swanepoel wore a one-of-a-kind VS look which felt inspired by Dolce & Gabbana.

Adriana Lima wore a custom Victoria’s Secret look from The Tour ’23, which doesn’t feel like a unique design, as I’ve seen variations of this before.
However, it is on theme for the brand.
Malone Souliers Maureen pumps didn’t align with the dress for me.

Doja Cat’s custom Victoria’s Secret slip dress wasn’t flattering at all. And judging by her (now deleted) Instagram story comments, she wasn’t too enamoured by this dress either.
Messika jewels completed her look.

A gold floral theme is trending on this red carpet, with Adut Akech’s custom Victoria’s Secret look from The Tour ’23.

Quannah Chasinghorse’s bespoke design was created by VS20 designer Melissa Valdez from The Tour ’23.

The one person I expected to serve up a barely-there, lingerie inspired look was Emily Ratajkowski, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her wearing a custom leather Victoria’s Secret two-piece look, which is one of her best red carpet looks in a long while.

This vintage Victoria’s Secret look was what I had envisioned for Emily Ratajkowski, but it looks like Olivia Ponton got there first.
Gismondi 1754 jewels completed her look.

Paloma Elsesser brings back the low-rise trend with her custom Victoria’s Secret look.

Naomi Osaka looks ready for a high school sleep over with her look which features a Victoria’s Secret floral embroidery strapless corset top and Christopher Esber Lost Souvenir mini skirt.

Lily Aldridge didn’t follow the majority by making her look lingerie focused.

Taylor Hill did, but she still followed a similar tailoring code to Lily.
