I was convinced that Houston would get the most new looks for Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour, and that could still be the case as it’s not until September 23, but for now LA served up the most costume changes with eleven new looks.
I must start with the custom Atelier Versace mini dress design, which took three members of the Atelier 600 hours to complete.
Looking at the bustier construction from Versace’s signature metal mesh printed with a version of the House’s Barocco motif, you can see why.
Then factor in the mesh Barocco printed bodysuit with degradé crystal embroidery, the Versace’s Medusa ’95 emblem on the shoulder straps, the wide-brim Barocco printed hat and matching all-over crystal embellished boots, and you have to admire how talented the Atelier team is.
I’m left in awe by the spectacle of it all.

Then we had two Tamara Ralph Fall 2023 Couture designs.
The first was a soft pink rosette bustier gown accented with feather sleeves, which I’m sure those of you who didn’t like Olivia Palermo’s Venice Film Festival gown, will say that they prefer this outing.

The second was one of many gloved looks that Beyonce has worn during this tour.
The bustier part has been modified, yet I’m still catching my breath seeing her in this dress.

Danielle Frankel, who is known as a Bridal designer, created this beautiful, embellished ensemble.
I’ll admit that I thought this was Miss Sohee at first, as it has the same vibe, and the designer uses the same pearlized embellishments.

Black velvet gloves and boots continue to dominate the wardrobe of this world tour (along with nude fishnet tights and corsets of course).
On this occasion I would’ve loved another colour to go with this Gucci embellished custom corseted pleated pink satin featuring a built-in bodysuit.

I can’t say that I’m a fan of this robot meets quarterback look.

I think it is safe to say that Loewe has been one of Beyonce’s favourite labels on this tour.
We are on custom look four or five, and they have been some of the most creative looks so far.
This bespoke Loewe technical printed embellished bodysuit features appliqué clear crystals, which gives it that luminous sheen. I can imagine how mesmerising this was on stage.
Black crystal-embellished gloves and a red chrome finish 3D-printed balloon bra inspired by the Loewe Fall 2022 collection completed her look, along with some matching red Loewe Paula Ibiza sunglasses.

I don’t think there was much of a theme for this birthday performance, as the looks just appear to be about having fun.
That was most apparent with this colourfully Emilio Pucci catsuit styled with a matching pair of custom Stuart Weitzman Yuliana boots.

The colour red has been one of the dominant looks from this tour.
We’ve had red Carolina Herrera, red Alberta Ferretti, red David Koma, red Off-White, red Ferragamo, red Alexander McQueen, the red Loewe above, and now a second red look from Balmain.
Olivier Rousteing sure does love a red vinyl moment for Bey.

Matthew M. Williams created this custom Givenchy black silk satin short jacket embellished with an electric circuit embroidered with mixed pearls and crystal stones, styled with a matching catsuit, and black Giv Cut sunglasses set with crystals.
The boots didn’t work with this look at all for me.

Beyonce looked amazing rocking a custom chrome cage jacket over a custom spiral chrome bodysuit and matching boots from Mugler by Casey Cadwallader.
This is one of the standout bodysuits of the tour, but I’m most enamoured by the boots.

As you know the opening act looks, where Beyonce will woo us with a stunning gown continues to be the highlight of this tour for me.
What can I say? I’m a romantic at heart.
But this Dolce & Gabbana custom catsuit overlayed with a long skirt with double splits took my breath-away.

And there were layers to this look, as she wore the catsuit with a sparkling tulle opera cape and, of course, black satin gloves.

This is a rare occurrence when the outcome is better than the vision on the sketch.
Custom Tiffany & Co. The Falls earrings and an Elsa Peretti® Fancy Intense Yellow diamond ring in sterling silver over 32 carats from the designer’s personal collection completed a look in her top twenty.
Can you believe that there have already been over 100 looks from this tour?
