But (no pun intended) that isn’t the craziest thing about Bebe’s The Uncommonist leather dress.
Because there is a horse tail cascading down her backside.
The front gives no indication as to what is going on at the back.
The designer has been quoted as saying, “By following rules, limitations are created – I want people wearing my designs to be fearless and unbothered by a passer-by’s opinion.”
And to Bebe’s credit, she is certainly living up to the ethos, because she looks very confident wearing this look.
I have been saying that I want something other than sheer dresses at the VMAs, and here it is.
The Uncommonist, a UK-based label, draws inspiration from the weird and the wonderful of everyday life, and twists them into off-beat silhouettes.
You won’t be surprised to learn that Julia Fox was the first to wear a butt cheek cut-out, horse tail look from this designer.
I know Bebe’s look will get a lot of hate, but I’m weirdly intrigued by it all, and to be honest. That is what I want from this red carpet.
