India’s star shuttler PV Sindhu has parted ways with her coach, Coach Park Tae Sang. The South Korean coach himself confirmed the news, taking responsibility for Sindhu’s recent failures. Park took to Instagram to announce the development, saying that Sindhu told her that she now wants to find a new coach after her recent poor performance. The coach wrote on his Instagram page, “…I want to talk about my relationship with PV Sindhu1 which has been asked by many. She has made disappointing moves in all her recent matches and as a coach As such I feel responsible.” ,

Park said he wanted to stay with him until the next Olympics but would continue to wish the two-time Olympic medalist well from afar.
“So she (Sindhu) wanted a change and said she would find a new coach. I decided to respect her decision and follow it. I am sorry that I cannot be with her till the next Olympics, but now I I’m leaving.” To support her from afar,” Park wrote.
Sindhu won her second consecutive Olympic medal, a bronze, under Park’s tutelage. The gold medal of Commonwealth Games 2022 should also not be forgotten.
“I will cherish every moment spent with him. I would like to thank everyone who is supporting and encouraging me,” he added.
Sindhu will now be in search of a new coach. When he won the silver medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016, he achieved it under the coaching of Indian legend Pullela Gopichand. Former player and now coach Kim Ji Hyun replaced Gopichand a few years later, but his stay was cut short after an alleged tiff between player and coach. After she left, Kim gave a powerful interview to a Korean YouTube channel where she called Sindhu ‘heartless’ who didn’t have time to call her when she was sick and only cared about practice and training sessions. Sindhu’s father PV Ramana denied the allegations.
