Who’s for the chop in Jurgen Klopp’s faltering Liverpool squad? 

Liverpool’s season plummeted to a new low after their 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid at Anfield on Tuesday.

The heavy loss to Los Blancos was the Reds’ biggest home defeat in their history and leaves Jurgen Klopp’s side facing an ‘almost impossible’ task to progress to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Liverpool are already out of both domestic cup competitions and are languishing in eighth place in the Premier League – seven points off the top four – after an inconsistent and disappointing season, just months on from narrowly missing out on an unprecedented quadruple.
