Former NFL star JJ Watt has joked he’s going to report a message from the NFL saying he’s down for a drug test as ‘junk’ after retiring from the sport.
The ex-Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals defensive end seems to be finding the funny side since bidding farewell to the NFL.
After joking he wasn’t going to fill out the retirement paperwork for the league earlier this month, he’s now made fun of the NFL’s recent message.
The 33-year-old shared the text which read: ‘This is Dillon on behalf of the NFL. You have been selected for a high dry blood spot test, please give me a call or shoot me a text when you can. Thank you.’
Watt publicized the message on his Twitter page with the caption: ‘I don’t know what happens when you click “Report Junk” but I think I’m about to find out…’

Former teammate Brian Peters made fun of the message, telling Watt to ‘unsubscribe’
The 33-year-old announced on December 27 that he was stepping away from the game
Former teammate Brian Peters replied to Watt telling him to ‘unsubscribe’ followed by a laughing crying face emoji.
While Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon was quick witted by referring to the name, writing: ‘This not the way I wanted to meet,’ followed by two laughing crying face emojis.
Watt expressed his surprise that paperwork had to be filled out to retire from the NFL after Tom Brady filed his letter almost two weeks ago.
Watt announced on December 27 that he was stepping away from the game, three months after he went into atrial fibrillation, requiring his heart to be shocked back into rhythm.
He tearfully said goodbye to the sport as the Cardinals lost to the 49ers 38-13.
However, following Brady’s letter, Watt joked he wasn’t going to fill out the paperwork but insisted he was ‘definitely retired’.
Quote tweeting a post reporting on Brady’s confirmation, Watt wrote: ‘I was unaware there was paperwork… Definitely not gonna fill that out, but definitely retired.’
Brady, 45, officially confirmed his February 1 retirement from professional football to the NFL and NFLPA by filing a letter with the two organizations on February 10.
